Listening Lab Requirements
11/16/10
The Online Interactive Listening Labs are designed to run on personal computers inside a browser, using your computer's sound system and a microphone.
If your computer can play sound, you will likely be able to run the listening labs: however, the Labs depend on your operating systems connection to the sound card and Flash 10.1, and relies on your microphone and sound capabilities.
Most of this functionality depends on the Flash Player 10. 1.
Adobe has tested Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 software extensively on the following minimum hardware configurations:
| Microsoft® Windows® | Mac OS X | Linux® and Solaris™ | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Processor | Intel® Pentium® II 450MHz, AMD Athlon® 600MHz or faster processor (or equivalent) | Intel Core™ Duo 1.33GHz or faster processor PowerPC G3 500MHz or faster processor1 |
800MHz or faster processor |
| Memory | 128MB of RAM | 128MB of RAM | 512MB of RAM |
